Yah they finally did it, so what, coloured flame birthday candles

{Buy It}
Every once in awhile at One More Gadget I like to post something that totally defies science and will completely blow your mind.

Introducing colored fire. In the form of Birthday Candles of course. These bright reusable candles burn coloured flames to match their bases. That’s hot.

These party favorites will burn in five brilliant colours, up to 7 minutes each. However, I’m not too sure about you but I think the average burn time for a regular birthday candle is about 10 seconds. So that means if you play your cards right you could technically have these candles for like….58 years.

A box of 12 dripless candles include at least 2 each of Red, Orange, Green, Purple and Blue. Simply replace the caps and store to use again. I’m not sure what chemical they use to change the natural colour of fire, but these are made out of plastic so…I’m sure 58 years from now if you start to grow a foot on your face, let me know.

    We’ve also used these for multiple birthdays in my home. They are a very nice investment. The children love the different colors.

    We’;ve never used colored-flamed candles before. But I can guarantee I’ll get some for the next birthday party we host.
    7 minutes of burn-time is more than enough to sing “Happy Birthday”. 🙂 Thanks!
