Underwater lightshow fountain is pretty sweet

Outdoor Coloured Fountain LIghtshow

This little fountain floats around in your backyard pond or pool and puts on a great underwater light show.

Illuminated sprays of water dance above the surface while color-changing lights shimmer below. Use the included remote control to separately operate 5 fountain shows and 6 underwater light shows.

No hose hookups required. The fountain can also be run without light show. Requires 4 D batteries, not included. Auto shut-off after one hour. 9″ Dia.

I like this idea. It makes summer parties just a little bit better with this gadget, not to mention a great designated area to make out.
