Our epic birthday card from a very creative One More Gadget fan!

Some of you might not know, but there was a big birthday here at One More Gadget! We received a lot of cards, but this one was definitely one of the best. There’s a couple inside jokes (we’ll explain later). See if you recognize any of the gadgets we’ve reviewed on our site. Enjoy!

Did you catch them all? I guess we do have almost everything here, even the poor little fish tank sink. And who could forget my big diabetes scare after scarfing down that ginormous Gummy Bear! (among other things). Although I don’t own my own Badonkadonk, I definitely will have a 14,000 gumball machine in my lifetime.

One of my best birthday cards was a few years ago. A girl literally made ‘The Biggest’ card I’ve ever seen. However, she spelled ‘bigest’ wrong. Pretty big mistake. Literally. And 2010, who could forget our hugely popular invention, the Star Wars Star Destroyer Umbrella? Way better than the Dualbrella. That thing sucks.

So there you have it, an epic birthday card. So awesome I almost crapped my pants. At least I now have a Comfort Wipe™.

Thanks Greg.

CableDrop Cable Clips for designy neat freaks

CableDrop Cable Clips are another pretty cool way to stay organized. And if you are a designy neat freak like myself these are perfect for all your mac cables, pens, cords and even memos.

So that’s why I love ’em. They are little gadgets for those extra things that just float around and never seem to have a place to go. Pens, pencils, usb wires. Whatever. And there’s something really satisfying about sticking these cable clips to things.

It’s kinda like sticking gum to the back of someones head that chews their popcorn too loudly in the movie theatre. Satisfying.

We got our cable clips from Budget Gadgets and here’s what we think:

What we like:
The price is great. They are squishy. They hold cables and they come in lots of cool colours.

Thoughts:
They are really sticky. Almost too sticky. Once they stick they are hard to pull off. Kind of like chewing gum on someone’s head.

Overall we like this gadget. It’s simple and adds colour to your desktop while cleaning things up. Ohhhh yeaaaahhhh.

Ferrari F1 Ride On

This is another piece of tech for the younger tech-lovers, but not one to be snubbed. Ferrari have released a child sized Ferrari car which is the closest it’s ever been to its adult counterpart. The mini replica is made by Ferrari and even carries an authenticated Ferrari badge. It reaches speeds of up to 5mph and has its own alloy wheels and forward and reverse gears. This mini Ferrari doesn’t come cheap- you can buy them for around $700, but are definitely the real deal.

No more tongue accidents, it’s another ingenius invention: The Bladeless Fan

bladeless pedistal fan

Nope. This isn’t about to go up in flames and have a tiger jump through it. This is actually a bladeless pedestal fan.

This bladeless pedestal fan uses the same technology found in jet engines to generate a soothing air stream without any blades. And when I try to think of how this could possibly work, I get flashbacks to that time when I disproved Einsteins theory of relativity. What what I thinking?

The bladeless fan produces a smooth, uninterrupted stream of air by the use of a turbine inside. Imagine a really large person blowing gently on your neck, non-stop for 24 hours, minus the creepyness. That’s what it feels like.

Despite that description it actually feels pretty good. And to top it off, you can stick your tongue, head, or any other extremity through it and it won’t matter!

Features:

• A dial allows smooth, continuous adjustment of air velocity
• The fan oscillates 80º, tilts 20º up or down
• Height adjusts from 46 3/4″-55 1/2″
• Includes a remote control and a 6 1/2′-long cord
• Developed by a genius. Possibly Eistein. But unlikely.
