Digital Picture Frame with a built-in scanner is pretty sweet

I get a real kick out of this one. This Digital Picture Frame comes complete with a built-in scanner. It works just as easy as feeding bills into a vending machine. Which basically means if you were born in the 40’s you will enjoy this piece of technology a heck of a lot more than trying to do it the regular way.

With the press of a button, photos are instantly converted into 300-dpi jpg images and stored on the unit’s 1 GB internal memory that holds up to 3,000 images. Images are viewed on a bright 8″ TFT LCD panel at 800 x 600 resolution in thumbnails, at full-screen size, or in slideshows that can even be accompanied by your MP3 soundtrack. The frame also displays a picture calendar and clock, plays MPEG videos, and is PictBridge compatible. Two slots allow you to store scanned images onto an MS/SD/xD/MMC/CF memory card or a USB storage device and transfer them to a PC running Windows XP, Vista, 7, or Mac OS X. All functions are easily accessed via buttons or the included remote control. For 1 1/2″ x 2″ to 4″ x 6″ photos. Plugs into AC. 7 1/4″ H x 9″ W x 3 3/4″ D. (2 lbs.)

Most importantly I have to give this product props for being easy. Something easy enough for my dad to use. Which is actually saying something because I still catch him from time to time putting the computer mouse on the screen for some reason.
